ForgeRivalWho is responsible and how to reach us
ForgeRival is founded by Lakshay Bhati and Aadit Arora and operated under Liftor Software and Technology Pvt Ltd. For privacy questions or requests, email info@forgerival.com. The public website at forgerival.com collects only the email addresses people submit to the ForgeRival waitlist, described in the next two sections. Like any website, the service that delivers these pages receives standard technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, so it can send them to you. The browser mini-game runs on your device and sends nothing about your matches.
Email waitlist
When you join the waitlist, we store the email address you enter (trimmed and in lower case), a short label for the button you used (for example “nav” or “footer”) and the time you joined. We do not ask for your name, phone number or anything else. We use your email only to tell you when team registration opens and to send important announcements about the first ForgeRival competition, such as dates, venue and rules. We do not sell it, share it with sponsors or use it to market other Liftor products. Waitlist entries are stored with Supabase, a hosted database service acting on ForgeRival’s behalf, in its Sydney, Australia region. The website can add entries but cannot read the list; only authorised ForgeRival operators can view it. If you change your email after joining, we keep both addresses unless you ask us to remove one. The website shows the total number of people who have joined, which includes sign-ups collected before this form launched; it never shows anyone’s email. To show that total, your browser asks Supabase for the current number; this request never includes your email. To stop automated sign-ups, the database briefly keeps a scrambled code made from the network (IP) address of each sign-up attempt, never the address itself, and deletes it within two hours. After you join, your browser tab remembers this in session storage until the tab is closed. Joining is voluntary and does not register a team or reserve a place.
Waitlist retention, removal and age
We keep your waitlist email until you ask us to remove it; no automatic deletion date has been set. Every waitlist email will include a way to unsubscribe, and you can ask to be removed by replying to any of them. To see, correct or remove your entry at any time, email info@forgerival.com. Anyone can join the waitlist; if you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before joining.
Team registration
Team registration is not open, so the public website collects no team details, phone numbers or payment information and sets no registration cookie. Before entries open, this notice will be updated. The draft Registration privacy & storage notice shows what the registration form is expected to collect and how it would be handled.
Changes to this notice
Each change to this notice is dated on this page. Significant changes will be communicated to people on the waitlist before they apply.
